CJ750

The Chang Jiang 750 (CJ750) is a Chinese BMW R71 clone which was originally a military bike with a sidecar and a whole heap of bolt-ons. This is a 1959 model but the styling is still the same as the 1938 original. I was drawn to the bike because of its awesome side profile and distinctive boxer engine, not that you could see much of either in its original form!  This photo shoot, by Lee Marshall, was at the world-famous Bletchley Park. We thought it was a fitting setting for a bike that has its origins in the WW2 era and the folk at Bletchley Park graciously agreed.
